Role Description
The Manager Enablement Lead reports to the Head of Talent Management. In this role you will be responsible for designing and delivering company-wide talent development solutions and programs that accelerate the success of EquipmentShare’s most valuable asset, our employees. This functional HR leader will build, introduce, and launch programs focussed on upskilling the leaders across our organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Career Ladders: You will leverage newly defined job levels and career tracks to build customized career paths by job family. These will be built alongside a company-wide competency framework and will be used together to chart individual career growth and development plans.
- General Manager (GM) Pipeline Development: In this role you will be responsible for creating an internal development pipeline for GM roles. This includes an analysis of critical skills needed in the GM role, a scalable assessment to determine skill level, and intentional development opportunities to progress employees towards role readiness. You will work closely with the Head of Talent Management, Head of Field HRBPs, and Head of TA to identify future headcount demand needs, difficult to staff markets, and succession planning opportunities to fill roles through this program. While we will start with the GM population as a prototype, we will subsequently look to scale this approach to other critical roles.
- Manager Capability: Working across the PFO team, you will identify areas of opportunity to upskill our manager population. This will include but is not limited to: driving a self-service environment, establishing and teaching manager core competencies, and working with the Talent Management and HRBP teams to deploy manager enablement products necessary to engage our managers in the Talent Management processes, as well as scale their capabilities for future process implementations.
- Diversity and Inclusion (D&I): Ensure D&I strategies are embedded within enablement strategies, goals, and audit mechanisms. Champion D&I throughout the talent lifecycle including areas of direct and indirect influence.
