As a Sr. Cybersecurity SoC Architect, you will design and architect secure System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions to meet the cybersecurity needs for next-generation automotive computing systems. This is a senior role with cross-functional scope. You are empowered to experiment with new ideas while building and implementing world-class security features to strengthen cyber guardianship for our hardware IP designs.

• You are passionate about designing and architecting secure SoC solutions for various applications, ensuring integration of cybersecurity features at the hardware level.
• You get excited about integrating hardware security features such as cryptographic accelerators, secure boot mechanisms, and secure enclaves into the SoC design.
• You thrive on using effective communications to collaborate across the organization with system architects, security experts, and software engineers to define security requirements and develop comprehensive solutions.
• You will be a domain expert in one or more areas of cybersecurity requirements. You ensure the implementation of secure elements following best practices to protect against common cybersecurity threats (including side-channel attacks, malware, and unauthorized access), and design principles meeting or exceeding industry benchmarks.
• You are good at conducting threat modeling to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities in the SoC design.
• You have a curious mindset to innovate on optimizing hardware security features for performance and power efficiency without compromising security. You partner closely with performance engineers to achieve a balance between security requirements and overall system performance.
• You work closely with cybersecurity experts to understand emerging threats and implement countermeasures at the hardware level.
• You are a lifelong learner. You stay updated with industry security standards and ensure SoC designs comply with relevant security certifications and regulations.

• You create and maintain detailed documentation for SoC architectures, security features, and design decisions.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/relevant technical field OR 8+ years with Master’s Degree OR 6+ years of experience with PhD.
• Proven experience in SoC architecture and design, with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms, secure boot processes, and hardware security principles.
• Experience with hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security protocols and certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, Common Criteria).
• Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
