Who we are looking for:

The Information Systems Support Technician will serve as first point of contact, handling initial IT request and escalating to tier 2 support as necessary.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users via various channels (phone, email, chat, in-person).
• Processes helpdesk tickets through ticketing system documenting actions taken and resolutions.
• Troubleshoots hardware, software and mobile devices and escalates to tier 2 support as needed.
• Configure and deploy hardware, software, and mobile devices.
• Read technical documentation to resolve break/fix issues.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

What you need to have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and skilled in problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Certification such as CompTIA A+, Net+ are a plus.
• Ability to adapt to rapid changes/rapid work environment, manage competing demands
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and skills (oral and written)
• Must be willing to participate in and pass F&R’s pre-employment screening including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record.
