JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Mont Alto Student Affairs is seeking a candidate for a part-time Administrative Support Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for students and families, maintain confidential information, and provide administrative support to the Student Affairs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Greet customers, provide information and refer as appropriate.
- Screen and process routine telephone communications, mail, email, and requests.
- Serve as a point of contact for students, parents, and families.
- Maintain files and databases; assemble and format data to create simple reports.
- Prepare documents, meeting materials, and correspondences.
- Collaborate and request routine changes to web pages.
- Maintain inventory and order/purchase program supplies; process work orders for facilities reservations/catering orders/needs in preparation for the academic year.
- Assist with Student Affairs preparations for New Student Orientation and New Student Welcome.
- Other duties/responsibilities as needed/assigned.
This position typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This part-time position will work 20 hours per week from June 1 – July 30, 2024

This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US
driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required
