Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Salary: Hourly rate: $15.85
Travel: No travel
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Serve as the primary receptionist for the Housing and Residence Life Office and respond to requests for information about departmental services, policies, and procedures. Provide clerical and administrative assistance to the Directors, Associate Director, residence hall and apartment front desks, as well as the resident director staff. Assist with special projects related to departmental training, recruitment and other critical functions related to operations.

Required Education: High School Graduation or Equivalent

Required Minimum Work Experience: Three years of progressive office experience or an Associate's Degree or two years coursework leading to a Bachelor's Degree.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Ability to accurately and efficiently operate department equipment to include any combination of word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet, and web-based applications.
Ability to use math for financial activity and for reports.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good judgment and initiative.

Excellent organizational skills.
Good attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy.
Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
