Field Specialist-HPL

Weatherford is seeking a skilled and safety minded individual to provide installation, maintenance, and servicing of Hydraulic Power Lift (HPL) systems, skids, and related completion equipment in both shop and field environments. This role supports operational excellence and customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and technical expertise. The HPL Field Specialist operates with autonomy and leadership, often managing field crews and ensuring safe, efficient execution of hydraulic lift operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

•    Perform installation and servicing of HPL systems and associated skids in the field.
•    Demonstrate a strong understanding of field operations.
•    Conduct field maintenance and repairs on both Weatherford and customer owned HPL rental equipment. 
•    Complete detailed job reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
•    Support shop operations and assist with equipment deliveries when needed.
•    Remain available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs across the Permian Basin.
•    Comply with Weatherford’s Quality Policy, technical procedures, and safety standards.
•    Perform all tasks to the highest quality and safety standards.
•    Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisor within the scope of the role.

Experience & Education

•    Field experience running hydraulic lift or completion tools in wells.
•    Prior experience with HPL systems preferred but not required.
•    High School Diploma or equivalent required.
•    Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret hydraulic schematics.
•    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
•    Self-starter with strong communication and teamwork skills.
•    Ability to follow instructions and work closely with team members.
