JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern is actively seeking an experienced Work Control (Service Request) Coordinator to join our Service Request Operations (SRO) team. We are looking for someone with experience coordinating, monitoring, and expediting work orders related to facilities maintenance service requests, with a minimum of six (6) months experience working in a computerized maintenance management system. As a Work Control Coordinator, you will work under minimal supervision to communicate and coordinate information about work orders, personnel, materials, and time to accomplish project work and facility maintenance on a priority basis.
Work Location: Dallas Campus (P Building); 100% onsite - remote work not available.
Shift Requirement: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
- Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience
- Six (6) months of experience working with an automated or computerized maintenance management system
- May consider education in lieu of experience.

JOB DUTIES
- Daily and constant review of work orders for proper distribution, accurate coding, and prioritization.
- Receives workload via email and phone calls.
- Assists Facilities Management supervisors in scheduling work orders.
- Updates work order statuses and closes work orders.
- Coordinates and plans material on work orders and orders materials for Facilities Management personnel as needed.
- Runs standard and ad hoc queries and creates work order reports.
- Coordinates, monitors, and expedites work order backlog.
- Assists and/or coordinates special projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
