About NIQ Next Consulting 

NIQ Next Consulting is the strategic consulting arm of NielsenIQ, leveraging advanced analytics, proprietary data, and industry expertise to help clients shape strategy, inspire transformation, and enable growth. We partner with global brands in FMCG and Tech and Durables to deliver actionable insights and innovative solutions that drive measurable impact. 

The Global Sales Leader will spearhead commercial strategy and execution for NIQ Next Consulting globally, focusing on FMCG and Tech & Durables sectors. This role combines strategic consulting sales, business development, and client relationship management to achieve revenue growth and expand NIQ’s footprint across key markets. 

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Leadership 

  • Define and execute global sales strategy for NIQ Next Consulting across FMCG and Tech & Durables. 
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive identification of consulting opportunities and innovative solutions. 
  • Own global pipeline management and ensure robust activity to meet quarterly and annual targets. 

Client Engagement 

  • Build and maintain C-suite relationships with global clients, aligning NIQ capabilities with client priorities. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor, translating client business challenges into actionable consulting solutions. 
  • Lead negotiations for large-scale consulting engagements and renewals. 

Solution Design & Delivery 

  • Collaborate with consulting and analytics teams to design tailored solutions leveraging NIQ’s data assets and AI-backed technology. 
  • Ensure quality of insights, storytelling, and strategic recommendations in final deliverables. 

Market Development 

  • Expand NIQ Next Consulting presence in new verticals and geographies. 
  • Promote NIQ thought leadership and innovation through industry events, presentations, and client workshops. 

Team Collaboration 

  • Partner with regional sales leaders, client success teams, and consulting experts to deliver integrated solutions. 
  • Mentor and develop sales talent throughout the consulting practice. 

Qualifications 

Experience: 18+ years in consulting sales, business development, or strategic account management within FMCG and/or Tech & Durables, have client-side experience and has worked in a strategic consulting firm.

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $167,000-$300,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
