As part of a diverse and hardworking team of Quality specialists, you will support internal health assessments, support continuous improvement efforts, maintain actionable metrics to drive sustainable improvement, monitor and report on manufacturing performing, support the development of control plans and first article inspections, provide preliminary reviews for nonconformance support, initiate and perform stock recalls, as well as managing material review areas and support work order closure reviews for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of the manufacturing and launch of New Glenn hardware.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing and/or integration experience in an aviation/aerospace manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges)
- Ability to conduct in-process and closeout inspections per engineering drawing requirements and work instructions criteria
- Ability to document inspection reports and audit manufacturing build records
- Familiarity conducting Process surveillance audits and reporting
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs
- Ability to support manufacturing schedules and overtime on as needed basis
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional team relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
- Aerospace, space launch, military or commercial aviation experience
- Related experience within a start-up environment, transitioning a product from development, through production to operations
- Proven experience in AS9145, Advance Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process
- Quality performance measurement analysis capabilities (SPC)
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Basic knowledge and familiarity on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
