ARSIEM is currently looking for a Software Engineer. The position supports one of our Government clients and is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulating extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems). 
• Work individually or as part of a team. 
• Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. 
• Resolve software problem reports. 
• Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. 
• Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Minimum Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience as an SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 
• Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Java, Spring Boot, Spring

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role? If you do, ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $10,000,  and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
