Intern, Project Development - Solar

What You Can Expect
As the Project Development Intern, you will support site origination and development of distributed solar and storage projects for ENGIE North America’s Distributed Solar and Storage (DSS) team. Additionally, you will work on discrete tasks to support land acquisition, permitting, environmental review, and other aspects project development to ultimately fulfill the company's renewable energy aspirations and growth strategy.
- Help development team in creating sustainable data management work flows to align with broader ENGIE ecosystem and manage their workflow by maintaining thorough meeting logs and action items
- Run portfolio financial models to create sensitivities and guidelines for future lease rates and development offers
- Support the development of new tools and trackers to manage development progress and data
- Assist in creating a more thorough budget tracking system for development team
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, or Economics preferred
- General understanding of renewable energy market trends and the resulting impacts on solar project development
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Hourly Range: $21.00 – $25.00 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an incentive plan.
