Title: Software Engineer II

Job Location: 301 West 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week. Up to 10% domestic travel required.

Job Description: Participate in Agile Ceremonies, including daily Standup, Refinement, Show/Tell, and retrospectives to enable successful delivery of sprint goals; Develop and deliver stories using .NET, Angular, and SQL Server tech stack; Write Unit Tests, Integration tests, and end-to-end tests using tech stack; Perform extensive peer review of code and stories from other peers; Lead and participate in tech design sessions and tech planning and execution sessions; Lead delivery of features through organization-approved change management protocols; Actively participate in organization-supported initiatives; and Actively participate in maintaining the applications and infrastructure in compliance.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following: Developing secured web applications using Angular UI Stack; Developing web API using .NET Core and C#; Developing, enhancing, and supporting applications developed using .NET framework and C#; Developing Data Access layer using Entity Framework Core; Developing quality code using Test Driven Development methodology; Unit Testing and Mocking techniques; SQL Server; Using GIT, GitLab, or any source code repository to manage delivery lifecycle; Experience with SOLID principles and clean coding practices; and Using software engineering practices and patterns to design one or multiple solutions for multiple problems at hand.

Salary: $151,538.38 - $ 161,538.38
