Retail Pharmacy Manager

CompleteRx is looking for a Pharmacy Manager to provide exceptional patient care at Champion Pharmacy, a retail pharmacy located inside CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo, NM. The Pharmacy Manager will oversee the pharmacy's operations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This individual will manage a team, leading by an example and delivering direct patient care.

SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000

Outpatient Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm
• Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 4pm

What You Will Do

• Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately
• Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol
• Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.
• Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy
• Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nursing

What You Will Need

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher.
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico.
• One to three (1-3) years of experience as a registered pharmacist.
• One to two (1-2) years of management experience.
