Position Summary

Pearce Services is looking for a skilled and motivated HR Employee Resources Partner (ERP) to join our rapidly growing company. This individual will play a key role in the organization supporting our employees and supervisors as part of a larger HR team aligned to one or more of our business units. This role will report to the HR Business Partner and will support the client group in several HR functional areas including effective employee relations via day-to-day HR related advice and support, assisting employees with their individual HR needs, career development, training, supervisor development, employment law compliance while building trust.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions of the HR ERP position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with employees and Business Unit supervisors.
  • Arranges services and work as the liaison for employees.
  • Implements programs to improve the employee experience at Pearce.
  • Guides employees and management with employee relations and performance management.
  • Offers hiring and offboarding guidance to the business.
  • Improves, implements, and administers Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Identifies and implements training needs for supervisors and employees.
  • Maintains company compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with HR Leadership/Legal as needed/required.
  • Works with PSG Recordkeeping employee file and record conservation/retention in electronic and/or paper form.
  • Handles complaints and disciplinary procedures for the Business Unit employees.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience supporting front-line employees and supervisors.
  • Understanding and curiosity about general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of employment/labor laws. Experience operating in California HR environment preferred.
  • Ability to work independently under general direction.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office (including advanced Excel skills).
  • HRIS experience, (UKG is a plus).
  • Ability to navigate conflict, seeking positive, mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
  • Process- and detail-oriented.
  • Good judgment and the ability to ask for help when needed.
  • Ability to work with diverse and strong personalities to drive results in fast-paced environment.
  • Adapts to flexible environments easily and leads others successfully through change with a positive attitude.
  • Renewable energy industry experience a plus, particularly with an independent service provider (ISP).

       

      Education

      • Minimum of 5 years of direct HR experience.
      • Strong computer skills including working with enterprise level software and MS products.
      • (S)PHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred.
      • Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration or relevant field (or equivalent) is preferred.

       

      Compensation: Pay Range- $26.00-$31.00 hourly/DOE
