As a Business Development and Marketing Excellence Manager, you will closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify innovative solutions for P&SS customer needs. You will evaluate external opportunities, manage third-party relationships, and oversee in-licensing and out-licensing aligned with business strategy. Additionally, you will coordinate the R&D ideation and budgeting process, support sustainability strategies, organize portfolio roadmaps, maintain competitor profiles, and support strategy implementation. Your role will involve championing new ideas through project management and leading marketing excellence processes to ensure successful execution of initiatives.

• Working closely with Global Strategic Marketing Managers, Global Development Managers, and the BioSolutions Team to identify new technologies and innovative solutions that meet P&SS customer needs.
• Assessing external opportunities for innovation and coordinating activities, including the negotiation of partnership terms and completion of legal agreements.
• Overseeing assigned third-party relationships and actively evaluating in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities in alignment with business strategy and market segment needs.
• Driving and nurturing new ideas through all project management steps until completion or an agreed handoff to assigned Global Strategic Marketing Managers.
• Managing the R&D ideation and budgeting process for Global Strategic Marketing and partnering with marketing teams to ensure current portfolio roadmaps.
• Supporting P&SS segment strategies through market research coordination, portfolio rationalization support, and leading long-term planning and forecasting processes.
• Contributing to sustainability initiatives, including TripleS (Sustainable Solution Steering) activities, and maintaining competitor profiles and market intelligence.

 

If you...

 

 

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agronomy, or a related field with 10+ years' overall experience. 
• Preferably hold a Master’s degree.
• Have 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or related roles within the agricultural or biotech industries.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing third-party relationships.
• Possess experience in negotiating partnership agreements and managing legal contracts.
• Exhibit a demonstrated ability to evaluate in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities.
• Have familiarity with R&D processes and budgeting.
• Maintain knowledge of sustainability strategies and market intelligence practices.
• Showcase strong project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from conception to execution.
• Possess experience in developing and implementing market strategies.
