Job Summary:

The Mgr., Data Research Programs provides the statewide perinatal quality collaborative all data support, which includes setting up data systems for statewide QI projects, data reports, statewide and hospital level reports, national AIM reports, and additional data analysis on these data. This position will also supervise the new grant data coordinators, working closely with hospitals, TIPQC leadership, TDH, and national QI organizations such as AIM and VON.

  • TIPQC / TDH instance of REDCap
    • Designated “super user”
    • New user accounts (NOTE: New user accounts must be “approved”)
      • Send & receive required TDH forms from each new user requesting access
      • Submit signed forms & necessary info to TDH
      • Create user account
      • Send new user link to set new password, username, and instructions
      • Create “generic” hospital/team level user accounts for specific TIPQC projects (and cross TIPQC projects)
        • Maintain timing of setting new passwords (every 90 days)
    • Existing user accounts
      • Password reset requests
      • Unsuspending any suspended user accounts
      • Granting & managing access to individual REDCap projects
    • Manage up to date lists of all user accounts granted access for each project
    • REDCap projects
      • Design and build all necessary REDCap projects
        • Design and build paper data entry forms (in Word) first
          • REDCap project mirrors paper data entry form
        • Types of projects build:
          • Individual “Project Application” projects
          • Individual projects for each TIPQC project
          • Additional Ops-related project
        • Common project design features
          • Traditional data collection instruments
          • Survey enabled data collection instruments
            • Alerts & Notifications
          • Repeating instruments
          • Pre-created records for each participating team – both manually and via Data Import Tool
          • Team specific Project Dashboards
      • Define and manage all necessary Data Access Groups (DAGs)
        • Assign records to relevant DAG
        • Assign users to relevant DAG
      • Data Reports and Exports needed to support data quality checks and checks for completeness, team data reports, and aggregate data reports
