Description
This position is responsible for responding to after hour hotline calls providing crisis intervention, support and advocacy for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. The Advocate will respond to requests for shelter, as well as respond to any after hour shelter emergencies, law enforcement and hospital calls and requests for protection orders. The Advocate will alternate weeks and be paid an hourly wage for any calls and call outs. Please view our job description: After Hours Hotline Advocate.
Requirements
Bachelors in Human Services or equivalent education and experience is preferred. Knowledge of domestic and sexual violence, trauma informed, and experience working in a crisis oriented environment preferred. Training provided. Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and collaborative skills while promoting the core values of the organization. A valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle is necessary.
