SECOND SHIFT

Position Title:                          Pay Rate

Maintenance Technician           $27.13/hr    

Sign on Bonus:                                                                                      Retention Bonus:

$500 after 30  days,                  $500 after 1 year

$500 after 6  months,                Additional lump sum after 2 years.

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time (2nd or 3rd Shift – Monday-Friday & if needed Saturday & Sunday) must be able to work any shift

The Job You Will Perform:

• Maintenance technicians perform a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition.  These activities include but not limited to scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency / break down repair referencing equipment manuals and other technical literature as needed
• Maintenance technicians report to the maintenance supervisor and maintenance lead person. The maintenance supervisor evaluates maintenance technician qualifications
• Perform preventative maintenance activities but not limited to such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations.
• Complete emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other repairs and installations
• Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records in SAP.
• Accurately using measurement and testing equipment;
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks;
• Maintaining teamwork with other associates;
• Keeping supervision informed of problems and/or unusual machine conditions
• The ability to perform the duties / responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation; the ability to read, write, and speak English; the ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices; well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience; the ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision following all safety rules and practices;

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Minimum three-five years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Candidate must have technical skills in all disciplines of industrial maintenance.
• Working knowledge of PLC controlled equipment
• Must have good working knowledge of various meters (volt/amp meters, schematics, dial calipers, heat sensing guns, tec.)
• Outstanding analytical and decision-making skills
• Able to handle multiple projects at one time.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
