CBO Lead - FT - Days (71063)

Hours: 8AM - 5PM

Days: Monday - Friday

JOB SUMMARY

Acts as the “go to” person for CBO staff questions and issue resolution. Able to perfom all CBO functions including but not limited to, billing, follow up, customer service, remittance processing, and cashiering as needed. Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvements. Tracks productivity and quality measures for the department. Completes departmental projects as assigned by the Manager and Director.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School graduate or equivalent (college degree preferred)

Licensure: Prefer Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) Certification

Experience: Prefer 2 to 3 years lead/supervisory experience in a hospital or other healthcare facility business office.

Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with internal and external customers. Job duties and tasks are frequently non-routine which requires logical problem solving ability. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines and standards. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Must be detail oriented and able to demonstrate competence in basic math concepts. Must have thorough knowledge of all back end revenue cycle functions.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

A wide variety of complex changing problems, many of which can not be anticipated, but need to be resolved. Normal business office environment. Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume, high pressure environment due to deadlines, staff issues and patient concerns.
