Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyzes structured and unstructured data to extract insights, build predictive models, and test hypotheses that improve operational decision-making
  • Design, Develop and Validate AI and ML based models for supply chain use cases (e.g., lead time prediction, inventory optimization, Demand forecast prediction)
  • Design and build analytics tools to help supply chain and operations short and long term objectives.
  • Conduct proof of concept, proof of technology, and root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies using data wrangling and visualization
  • Experience in process re-engineering and make themmore agile to address the dynamic business needs
  • Lead workshops to drive requirement gathering, solution discussion and testing etc.
  • Driving new solutions that can be implemented cross-functionally

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • PhD in Operation Research or a PhD in Optimization
  • Understanding and Implementation of supply chain planning systems and process
  • 1-3 years of work experience in Data science projects in Supply Chain and  Operations
  • Good knowledge of AI/ML and Experience in creating models based on AI/ML

SKILLS:

  • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to influence others, drive new initiatives and way of thinking in the organization
  • Understanding future business strategies and directions to implement Process and Systems
  • Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and experience in supply chain planning
