What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care and serving our patients to ensure safety, successful execution of exercise, and a positive outcome
- Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily-living activities.
- Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under direction of professional staff. Will be required to demonstrate correct activity form or function.
- Observe the patient during various physical activities designed in the treatment plan, compiling progress on patients’ response to treatment.
- Effectively communicate patient progress and reactions to treatment to the therapist.

What You Bring to the Role
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 18 years of age or older
- Majoring in Kinesiology/Biology/Exercise Science (preferred)
- Prior experience or knowledge as a physical therapy technician
