Job Summary:  The Production Associate will be responsible for assembling KanakScapes products. This role involves hands-on assembly work, ensuring each product meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, a keen eye for detail,  and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.  

Duties in this role include the following:

• Product Assembly: Assemble KanakScapes products using various hand tools, following detailed instructions and blueprints.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts and products during and after assembly to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Tool Maintenance: Maintain and care for hand tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels of parts and tools as needed.
• Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues to maintain production flow.

Requirements

Qualified candidates for this opportunity will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience: Previous experience in a production or assembly role.
• Skills: Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools.
• Detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written instructions.
• Team Player: Ability to work well within a team environment and contribute to team success.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
