About the role

Discovery Solutions Associate Managing Director (AMD):

The AMD within our Discovery Solutions Practice will have the ability to manage client relationships, handle substantive assignments and develop business primarily for our Discovery Solutions practice but also help with joint marketing of our other Kroll services. The successful candidate would be expected to originate and manage business and raise the profile of the firm through active business development.  For consideration, the candidate must demonstrate past business origination and have high level corporate and law firm contacts and have experience leading other experienced professionals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development for Discovery for Compliance, Investigations and Litigation.  This also includes leveraging existing client base/projects to expand opportunities for Kroll Risk Advisory business unit, Cyber service line and overall Kroll businesses.
  • Kroll Discovery Solutions service consolidation, and supporting proactive data and information governance opportunities  
  • Market facing (practice eminence building internally and externally) activity related to all Analytics, Discovery, and Forensic Technology (internal investigations, white collar crime, other fraud)
  • Execution and Delivery; Tool stack, team makeup, assist in the review and improvement (as needed); to support discovery capabilities
  • Alignment and tactical integration with overall Cyber and Risk Advisory strategy

 

Qualifications:

  • Business/client development and financial management skills and experience are required
  • At least 10 years of work experience with solid career progression, including at least 7 years in one or more of Legal, and/or Consulting, (experience in a professional service organization, a plus), or Government.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.  JD, or relevant graduate degree preferred; 
  • Prosecutorial and/or investigative experience required
  • Proven leadership ability
  • “Hands-on” professional with ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Contacts and strong reputation in private sector
