Cert Nurse Assistant Outpatient - Part-time

CNA Outpatient

Responsibilities include vital signs, medical history review, and ensuring patient comfort.  Provide post-operative care under RN supervision, monitoring recovery and assisting with ambulation, dressing changes, and discharge instructions.  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.  Transport patients to and from procedure rooms and assist with positioning.  Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).  Communicate effectively with nurse, and surgeons, and other healthcare team members.   Stock supplies and prepare recovery bays for incoming patients.  Follow *infection control protocols* and surgical center policies.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.   Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patient and staff.
