Facilities Support Representative

 

The candidate will need to have knowledge of:

• Basic understanding of construction, electricity, plumbing, HVAC
• Basic use of hand tools: screw driver, cordless drill, level, hammer, etc, to hang things on walls and/or other basic facility-related duties
• Project schedule management for facilities/construction activities
• Basic understanding of preventative maintenance techniques and schedules
• Basic understanding of escort duties into secure spaces for vendors
• Coordinate with vendors and Government personnel on status of equipment/facilities and repairs and replacements

Qualifications

The candidate must be able to:

• Perform building inspections inside, outside, on rooftops, potentially during inclement weather, and enter areas that may be hot, cold, or contain mechanical, electrical, or electronic components in closets or other small spaces
• Pick up and carry 50 lbs
• Walk around DC3 facilities unassisted, to include ascending and descending stairs and ladders, and standing for long periods of time

 

Additional skills:

• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English to hold meetings, create reports, respond to emails
• Demonstrated capability to track metrics via MS Excel and other MS Office suite tools and enter tickets into facility management software
• Willing to work infrequently after hours in support of emergencies
• Possesses a positive attitude and can work well in a cross functional team with other contractors and Government staff

 

• Active TS with SCI eligability
• 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
