Overview

Direct Warehouse Day to Day Activities

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse employees
• Manage $85 million in SDI inventory
• Enter and approve payroll
• Conduct evaluations and provide training to new and existing employees as required
• Enter and Run daily cycle count and variance reports
• Oversee and approve all warehouse spare purchases
• Make CMMS inventory updates
• Investigate and rectify inventory discrepancies
• Rectify purchasing/issuing errors using generally accepted accounting principles
• Create Monthly reports for accounting
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly safety meetings as required
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly inspections as required
• Manage and facilitate internal and external financial, safety, and quality audits
• Regularly collaborate with department supervisors and management to facilitate ongoing operations

Qualifications

Required: 

 

• Strong Safety record 
• Must be self-motivated, able to make independent decisions, and work without direct supervision
• Strong computer aptitude/capability including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong accuracy and organizational skills
• Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking
