Job DetailsJob Location: Morgan House - Milwaukee, WI 53220Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 2 Year Degree or Equivalent ExperienceTravel Percentage: Up to 50% Job Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesJob Purpose: This is a supervisory position that is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.   This includes overseeing the care and well-being of the residents, ensuring all necessary services and support are provided, managing staff who provide these services, and ensuring the facility and staff are operating in accordance with CFI policies, as well as local, state and federal regulations, including compliance with Department of Health Services (DHS) 83 licensure.

Supervises the daily activities, coordinates resources, and sets priorities for the 8 bed CBRF team to ensure task completion at a satisfactory level in all aspects of operations and clinical care.
Complete client assessments and provide input into the development of services, goals and objectives.
Develop and update client treatment plans, complete billing notes, compile monthly outcomes, complete PPS Noms, complete annual consent packets, review incident reports and complete area manager review.
Coordinate client medication regimen with prescribers and pharmacy, implement medication changes, and oversee Medication Administration Records at the CBRF.
Act as a liaison for all clients and their family, guardians, providers and case managers.
Trains and schedules Behavioral Health Technicians in accordance with DHS 83 and agency policy and procedures.
Responsible for working any BHT shift in which we are unable to find alternative coverage and to fulfill all BHT responsibilities during this shift coverage.  Coverage includes first, second, and third shifts seven days a week.
 May have to provide Residential Supervisor coverage at another facility during times of Residential Supervisor vacancy or time off.  Must train at all 6 locations to provide direct are and supervisory coverage during times of emergencies.
Participates in after hours on-call rotation providing clinical, maintenance triage and scheduling support during non-business hours. 
Evaluate shift duties to ensure compliance with DHS 83 regulations. Understands and adheres to established internal Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) policies and procedures.
Maintain client charts according to DHS 83 regulations including filing and thinning on a monthly basis.  Ensure house files and progress notes are filed in accordance with agency guidelines.
Handle clients’ daily and weekly allowances and documents disbursement of funds.
Evaluate repairs and normal wear and tear replacements of furnishings and other household items.  Ensure that all repair/replacement requests are entered electronically in a timely manner.
Audit groceries and supplies according to pre-established budget.
Attend, facilitate, and participate in staff meetings, in-service training seminars and conferences as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Performs human resources responsibilities for employees which includes onboarding, training, coaching on performance, completes performance reviews and overall employee morale. Recommends hiring, terminations, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions and terminations. Reviews and approves accurate reports of time.
Responsible for ensuring that personal actions, and actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the program funders, contracts, and CFI business.
QualificationsRequired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum Required Education:  Bachelor’s degree preferred or an associate’s degree in human services or five years of equivalent experience with working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness required. 
Minimum Required Experience:

Minimum of one year experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
Minimum of one-year supervisory experience.

Required License/Certification/Registration: None

Travel Type: Up to 50%

Required Valid Driver’s License:  Valid Wisconsin driver’s license

Required Auto Insurance:  Vehicle liability insurance in accordance with Agency policy.
 

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities:

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office such as Word, Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
Must be able to function with minimal supervision.
Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, mental health, and social service resources of individuals living in the community.
Knowledge of DHS 83 regulations.
