HR Business Partner - Bilingual (English/Spanish)

- Provides HR support for customers and employees through recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefit administration, payroll, workers compensation, employee engagement, and other duties to support the Global Distribution business.
Major Areas of Accountability
- Partner with local and remote management to effectively enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance and performance expectations
- Maintain high level of confidentiality when handling employee relations issues, sensitive documents, and strategic goals
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of HR functions, including providing support and supervision to department staff, and planning and administration of department budget.
- Interface with other Coloplast HR groups to ensure alignment and consistency. Includes participation in special projects and local policy development. Actively participates in HR Forum.
- Provides effective, business-driven consultation and HR generalist support to operations and other client groups, including performance coaching, recruitment and retention strategies, legal issues and employee relations, needs assessments, planning, and organizational development.
- Oversees implementation and evaluation of Human Resources programs and projects, including compensation, annual Personal Development Planning, training and development, organizational review, health and welfare, AAP/EEO, benefits open enrollment, and employee reward and recognition systems.
- Interface with external customers, law firms and other experts, agencies, and other HR service vendors including temporary staffing agencies.
- Manage open positions in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure organized recruiting process
- Assist with administrative registration for payroll system for employees
- 5-10% domestic travel
- Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR desired
- 2 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing and distribution center
- Proven track record of partnering at all levels within an organization
- Proficiency in MS office programs
- Knowledge of US and Canadian employment laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi site experience
- International experience
- PHR/SHRM-CP Certification
- Bilingual - English/Spanish
