Intern - IT Systems Engineer

Location Details: Tempe, AZ

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

In Office: This is an in-office position and you’ll be expected to work full-time in an office location, and therefore must live within commuting distance from your assigned office. You will work from this office beginning on your first day.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, California, Colorado, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Seattle, WA, or the Virgin Islands.

This is a temporary, 12-week internship assignment.

What you'll get to do...

- Monitoring of user issues reported to Internal IT and addressing requests in a timely fashion
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction within the business
- Focusing on first contact resolution to get employees back up and running quickly
- Supporting colleagues face to face in Tempe and remotely supporting our employees around the globe
- Maintain a professional image to the business at all times
- Escalation of issues to relevant teams where appropriate
- Documentation of issues appropriate for our internal and self-service knowledge base
- Participation in small project(s) / IT improvements

Your experience should include…
- 2+ years experience supporting Technical and Customer Facing employees in the office and remote SLA driven environments
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop administration and networking
- Experience with workstation and laptop hardware, Cisco phones/VOIP software, and printers
- Understanding of business grade IT Security/Anti-Virus, VPN, and on site and remote provisioning
- Network patching and wireless troubleshooting
- Ability to self-manage and make best support decisions for employees with limited supervision.
- Logical fault finding, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Extraordinary customer focused attitude with strong communications skills

You might also have…

- Knowledge of the following tools: Slack, Teams, O365, OS knowledge of Windows and MacOS

- Experience supporting conferences and meetings of various sizes (A/V support, streaming troubleshooting, etc.)
