Required:Active secret clearance required10+ years of Systems Administrator experienceHands on experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and VMWareExperience administering Oracle and/or Postgres DatabasesExperience administering Oracle Weblogic and/or Apache Tomcat webserversExperience with Virtual Machine configuration. Maintenance, upgradesExperience with Configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of hardware desktops, SANs, servers.Experience with PKI certificate generation, installation, maintenanceStrong experience with Systems Administration of Windows 10 or 11Experience with network router and switch configurationsExperience writing scripts to automate tasks.Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred:Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)Microsoft Certified: Azure AdministratorVMware VCPExperience maintaining Solaris systems.Expertise in Microsoft Project.
DUTIES:The ideal candidate will have a broad background as a Systems AdministratorWe are looking for a candidate with a strong Linux systems administration background.We maintain a lab environment where we host both mirrored versions of operational mission systems and offer a testbed to evaluate engineering drops and candidate deliveries from developers to evaluate these upgrades as they proceed on the path to formal acceptance and operational deployment.The team needs to be adept at troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and working with the developers and support teams to solve problems, while meeting the customer’s priorities and schedules.Daily meeting (Scrum) with the customer to provide status of ongoing efforts and planning for future events.Assign work to and receive status from the other team members to meet the customers schedules and priorities.This is the Lead position for a team of System Administrators.
