Functions/Responsibilities:

 

• The Planner is responsible for the effective execution of all maintenance work processes in the Northlake and Kankakee manufacturing locations. The position is responsible to the EH&S and Facilities Manager for the efficient and effective planning and scheduling of all resources (company and contractors) to conduct maintenance activities which results in a minimum downtime and maximum productivity. The Planner must utilize his/her scheduling skills to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts/material requirements, and define skill sets required to develop a safe and effective maintenance work plan. The planner also provides equipment related expertise and technical knowledge to improve preventative maintenance activities.

 

• The Maintenance Planner Scheduler will support all policies, goals and objectives of the company, and will represent the company in a knowledgeable and professional manner. 
• Ensure maintenance activities meet or exceed EH&S corporate objectives.  Adhere to the principles of Process Safety Management, with the Regional EH&S and Facilities Manager, at the sites.
• Drive standardization and rationalization for optimum efficiency and cohesive, standardized methodology across plants. 
• Principle contact and liaison between the maintenance department and production/project planning. They ensure all internal customers in which they interact will receive professional maintenance ser
