•    Support VLAN configurations, trunking, spanning-tree protocols (RSTP/MSTP), and EtherChannel setups.
•    Perform basic switch upgrades and patching to ensure network security and stability.
•    Help troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including port security and inter-VLAN routing problems.
Network Security & Firewall Support:
•    Assist in managing Cisco ISE for network authentication, 802.1X access control, and device profiling.

•    Assist in troubleshooting Wi-Fi connectivity issues, coverage gaps, and signal performance.
•    Help with the installation and organization of patch panels, structured cabling, and network racks.
UPS Installation & Management:
•    Install, configure, and maintain UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) equipment to ensure reliable power backup for network infrastructure.
•    Monitor UPS health, battery status, and capacity to ensure uptime for core network switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
•    Assist in troubleshooting power-related issues, performing routine battery checks, and escalating potential failures before they impact operations.
•    Work with vendors and IT teams to ensure UPS deployments meet power requirements for network and server infrastructure.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
•    Utilize network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, or NetFlow) to monitor bandwidth usage and network performance.
•    Perform basic packet analysis using Wireshark to identify and resolve network latency or packet loss issues.
•    Work with the senior engineering team to identify potential network vulnerabilities and assist in patching efforts.
Operations & Documentation:
•    Maintain and update network documentation, including IP address allocations, switch configurations, firewall policies, and UPS inventory.
•    Assist with ticket resolution for network-related incidents and changes, collaborating with helpdesk teams as needed.
•    Participate in change management processes and follow standard operating procedures for network upgrades and modifications.
