Job Summary
Ariadne Labs is a joint center for health systems innovation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Our goal is to drive scalable solutions for better care at critical moments in people’s lives everywhere. Better care means better health outcomes, lower costs, and more actual caring. Critical means solving health systems failures that have major impact, typically touching people by the millions. Ariadne Labs currently has research programs in the areas of childbirth, surgery, palliative care, home hospital, and primary health care.Ariadne Labs seeks a Program Director to support our Primary Health Care (PHC) Program. The Advisor will work closely with the Associate Director of Primary Health Care, as well as faculty and staff across the program, to provide strategic leadership and guidance. In this role, the Director will contribute expertise in health care strategy, systems improvement, and partnership development to advance the PHC Program’s priorities. The Director will play a key role in shaping program direction, strengthening collaborations, and supporting the translation of program goals into impactful initiatives.
Primary Health Care Program
The Primary Health Care (PHC) portfolio at Ariadne Labs contains multiple interconnected projects which focus on innovating, testing and implementing innovative measurement approaches, integrated service delivery models, population health management practices, and value-based payment models. Our work generating and translating knowledge into practice and policy spans the global PHC ecosystem of donors, multilateral organizations, national health systems, payers and providers, and other partners. Recently, the PHC Program has launched domestic work in the United States to address clinical and healthcare system level barriers to diagnosing and treating mild cognitive impairment, accelerating the integration of whole of person care into primary care practices, and validating and spreading innovative payment approaches that drive value-based care models. The PHC portfolio is expanding rapidly, with active work in multiple countries, and deepening relationships with collaborating partners around the globe.
Qualifications
Essential Functions
-Lead program development, implementation, and evaluation to align with organizational goals.
-Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance program effectiveness.
-Develop and implement communication strategies to promote program efforts and share results with key stakeholders.
-Foster relationships with stakeholders to enhance program success.
-Provide direction and support to ensure successful program delivery.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of successful program development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with a broad spectrum of patient populations.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required and Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
Experience
Program management experience 8-10+ years required and Team leadership experience 1-2 years required
