This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

 

Key candidate attributes to facilitate success in this role include influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving specifically in an Aerospace Industry Direct Environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the monitoring of critical business-wide metrics and coordinate cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
• Lead the development and execution of long-term capacity planning strategies to support growth.
• Implement advanced supply chain modeling techniques for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
• Utilize data-driven insights to drive efficiency and cost reduction in supply chain operations.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession.
• Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement of supply chain processes and systems.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics for supply chain management.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support operations.
• Coordinate and resolve company-wide risks and obstacles to align schedules with customer needs.
• Report key supplier progress to senior leadership in operational initiatives.
• Direct production readiness assessments for New Product Introduction and rate increases with business-wide impact.

 Job Qualification:

• 5-7 years of direct experience in supply chain management, with a focus on capacity planning, inventory optimization, operational control and supply chain strategy and management.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
• Track record of managing complex technology projects with aggressive schedules with scarce resources.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners.
• B.A., B.S. degree or APICs certification or 8+ years of Blue Origin experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• An MBA in Business Administration or equivalent
• Warehouse /Inventory management experience in the aerospace or medical industry
