Warehouse Associate

NorthEast Electrical is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Augusta, ME!

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Salary: $20 - $21 per hour

A Warehouse Associate at NorthEast Electrical is the ideal position for a person who takes pride in supporting the warehouse function and assisting the counter sales staff.  Must be able to maintain the appearance of the warehouse and ensure the warehouse is clean and organized.

What a typical day looks like in this role:

- Load and unload trucks, move material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.

- Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.

- Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.

- Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.

- Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties. Keep the warehouse clean and organized.

- Process returns according to established procedures.

- Perform cycle counting of inventory.

- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of policies and procedures, general product knowledge, participate in training, and attend meetings as requested.

- Assist the counter personnel and act in helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and coworkers.

- Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.

- Must acquire a working knowledge
