JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, e-Commerce Data Strategy & Analytics leads the development and interpretation of digital shelf and AI-driven insights to drive profitable growth in Pharmavite’s E-Commerce channel. This role oversees performance measurement, reporting, and strategic analysis to inform decisions on online sales, customer engagement, and omnichannel integration. Key responsibilities include delivering actionable reporting, creating a data strategy integrating various data sources into a scalable data infrastructure, supporting strategy development, and leading ad-hoc analyses.
The ideal candidate is an experienced e-commerce analytics leader with a deep understanding of e-Commerce dynamics in relation to brick-and-mortar businesses and Direct to Consumer. The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of data science and AI techniques applicable in a sales environment, be skilled in connecting large, complex digital shelf data ecosystems and retailer POS, translating insights into strategy, and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize the full e-commerce experience. The ideal candidate will also be an expert in story-telling with data and socializing insights in a clear and compelling manner that enables decision-making among stakeholder groups.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a highly analytical team responsible for developing and executing e-Commerce and Omnichannel analytic strategies aligned with corporate objectives (1 direct report)
Deliver impactful presentations and insights: facilitate monthly meetings with key strategic retail partners (e.g., Walmart, Target); conduct quarterly business reviews with Sales Leadership; provide strategic updates to Senior Leadership on total eCommerce performance and digital shelf metrics; and leverage advanced analytics to develop data-driven sales narratives and present compelling insights to retail buyers.
Develop, maintain and enhance eTail KPI dashboards in Power BI, integrating data from multiple data sources, and translating into clear business recommendations
Define KPI frameworks and oversee scalable data architecture and governance to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with data protection regulations; align with Data Engineers and/or Data Scientists to determine best infrastructure
Develop and be accountable for the team’s data deliverables including data pipeline, data models, database schemas, data dictionaries (physical & logical), data flow diagrams and ERDs as well as dashboard and reports.
Drive the application of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to deliver actionable insights and influence strategic business decisions
Lead end-to-end data solution delivery, including models, dashboards, and automated processes, while fostering innovation through experimentation and scalable methodologies
Work with external agencies to maintain robust data infrastructure, ensure data accuracy, and establish tools that create actionable insights
Collaborate with the Content Team to measure effectiveness of content updates, provide data to guide on resource allocation, and assist with technical support in Salsify, Syndigo, and 1WorldSync
Provide insights to Marketing Innovation based on digital shelf trends; track new item performance and recommend keyword/content updates based on search, reviews, and conversion data
Ensure accurate sales tracking across platforms in collaboration with Sales Strategy and IT
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or its equivalent. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree in qualitative field is preferred.
