Department Overview:
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining training and digital tools, including PowerApps, that support and enhance the Regulatory, Audit and Compliance Assurance (RACA) programming. As part of the RACA Strategic Operations, Communication and Training team, this role will support the continued development of our programming, provide creative input and support us in our continuous drive to upskill our stakeholders. In this role, the colleague will create interactive solutions to promote regulatory education, track learning progress, and create solutions to support ongoing learning for colleagues across TD.
Job Description:
The Information Security Specialist defines, develops and/or implements Technology Controls / Information Security related policies, programs, tools and provides specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the Bank. Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity and provides complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line or enterprise level for own area.
Depth & Scope:
- Participates on complex, comprehensive or large projects and initiatives
- Acts as a lead expert resource in technology controls / information security for project teams, the business / organization and/or outside vendors
- Has advanced knowledge of organization, technology controls / security/ risk issues
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Information security certification / accreditation an asset
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines and practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Design, develop, and deploy PowerApps and other Microsoft 365 tools to support regulatory training, role-based training and tracking.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different Lines of Business to understand the regulatory landscape and current learning needs.
- Create and manage a suite of PowerApps that enable assessments, training modules, and resource access for employees.
- Ensure user-friendly interfaces and seamless integration with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other internal platforms.
- Maintain and update applications to meet evolving regulatory needs.
- Provide technical documentation, support, and training for users to ensure efficient tool usage.
- Proficiency in PowerApps development, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 suite.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, data security, and cyber principles.
- Experience creating digital learning tools or applications, with a focus on user experience.
- Problem-solving abilities to translate learning needs that engage and educate users effectively.
