Job title: Neural Network Scientist
Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a self-motivated and proactive Neural Network Scientist to join its Algorithms R&D team. The Neural Network Scientist will work with the Sound & Vision team to help with massive open online course (MOOC) content creation. This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities
- Working with developers and researchers to write the bulk of the content for the neural network MOOC based on existing content
- Creating new content and examples to show uses and applications of the neural networks
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master’s or PhD in computer science, engineering, math, physics or a related technical or quantitative field
- Excellent familiarity with deep neural networks
- Excellent written skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with specific application domains of neural networks (computer vision, NLP, speech recognition, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Wolfram Language
- Excellent oral presentation skills
Location: Fully remote and seeking candidates from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Armenia, Turkey and India
Job type: Full time (40 hours per week)/Independent Contractor
Salary: Dependent on location, candidate’s background and experience
Reporting to: Manager of Sound & Vision
