The Microsoft Windows/Cloud Experiences (WCX) team within the Windows and Devices Organization is responsible for Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Mixed Reality Cloud. We are delivering the Windows experience from the cloud to any device - Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and Mixed Reality devices. The WCX team is looking for a proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented Business Administrator to join this high functioning team.
As a Business Administrator in WCX, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of the team by supporting the administrative needs of two engineering leaders. You will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role on the team and to exercise a growth mindset to adjust to continually changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide calendar and time planning support for managers, and may manage community space calendars. You’ll also begin to develop relationships with stakeholders across multiple organizations.
- Participate in the Business Support community and may mentor colleagues to help them better understand the organization. You’ll also participate in onboarding and act as an essential contact for questions.
- Support the planning and coordination of events, as well as help determine other event needs. You’ll also carry out various projects and tasks with little to no supervision.
- Oversee inventory management and participate in discretionary budget tracking and reporting. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of rhythm of business (ROB).
- Maintain up-to-date space-management processes and team spaces, using data to recommend changes and identify future requirements. You’ll also provide travel arrangements and may create itineraries for daily activities.
- Support the team with space management, office moves, new hire set up and onboarding and procurement of equipment and supplies.
- Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel.
- Partner with a team of business administrators to support the organization’s travel and expense budgets, employee onboarding, and offboarding.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work.
- 2+ years’ experience working as administrative support for partner executives including managing calendars, outgoing written communications, and expenses.
- Proficiency with Microsoft software, including Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook.
- 1+ year(s) experience with vendor management and planning events/meetings or project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years Administrative, Business Support, OR customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work.
- Associate's/bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years’ experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).
Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $23.56 - $41.68 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $34.71 - $48.22 per hour.
