What you will be doing as an Administrative Programs Officer I:

  • Coordinate information delivery to stakeholders such as EMS providers, hospitals, government agencies, and the public through social media, newsletters, websites, and reports.
  • Administer OEHS REDCap software to collect data via surveys, monitor responses, generate reports, and support program managers.
  • Oversee program finance processes and help improve financial procedures.
  • Draft contracts outlining deliverables, deadlines, and payment structures.
  • Write and coordinate grant applications with Program Director and Managers, including determining funding needs and timelines.
  • Assist with managing Advisory Boards for the programs.
  • Manage program equipment and vehicles, including disposal and retention records.
  • Help track and report internal performance measures for the OEHS Program.
  • Assist with preparing RFPs, RFQs, and regulatory changes.

Requirements/Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in public or business administration, accounting, or any discipline related to the work assigned. One year of experience in administrative, business management or technical support work including collecting and interpreting statistical, financial, program, or administrative data; or interpreting laws, rules, regulations, and processes. Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in: Program planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluating program functions and budgets, and working with administrators, management, and staff in training development and implementation. Adobe Acrobat Pro (including form creation), Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Communication with a variety of stakeholders. 

Other: A valid driver's license is required for this position. 


 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of: administration and management principles and practices; business operations, purchasing and inventory; research and administrative survey techniques; the principles and practices of budgeting, accounting, and fiscal control; business computer and communication systems; departmental software programs/systems; technical processes and procedures; work planning and organizing; federal and State laws and regulations that govern the work assigned.

Skill in: operation of computer equipment and other office machines; using a variety of advisory and statistical data such as technical operating manuals, policies, procedures, financial and budgetary reports; prioritizing/organ
