Position type: Hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, process and store goods into stock from purchase and production orders via SAP.
  • Perform material goods issues to production orders.
  • Account for scrap generated by production and create documents associated with the scrap sale.
  • Deliver goods to designated recipients.
  • Communicate all count discrepancies to purchasing department.
  • Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Assist in ordering packing supplies.
  • Process domestic shipments through pack station, UPS and FedEx software.
  • Complete all required shipping documentation.
  • Schedule pick-ups with freight forwarders and courier.
  • Operate a forklift to move and place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
  • Assist in the annual physical inventory.
  • Assist in the clean room.
  • Maintain safe operations by following procedures and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • One to three years’ experience in a warehouse environment with general understanding of shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operating procedures.
  • Basic computer skills, using MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using SAP R/3 preferred.
  • Basic math, writing and clerical skills.
  • Ability to communicate with management and co-workers as they relate to functionality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • High degree of responsibility, accountability, flexibility, and punctuality.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in operating lifting devices (i.e., forklift, cranes and hoists).
  • Ability to work with power tools (i.e., table and arm saws, cordless drill).
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
