THE JOB:

As a Cage Cashier, you will set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and top-notch service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

The responsibility of the Cage Cashier is to process customer and inter-departmental monetary transactions, as well as Players Club services and Sports Wagers, while providing excellent guest service.  All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures, within the framework and intent of the MGM Grand Detroit Mission Statement.

THE STARTING RATE: $19.54

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Engage and acknowledge all guests in a friendly and outgoing manner

• Efficiently process patron’s monetary transactions by exchanging cash for table games chips and/or redeeming table games chips for cash

• Provide a high level of service when interacting with guests using problem-solving, attention to detail, and guest safety
