The North America Marketing team at Workday is a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing group responsible for driving marketing strategies that support business growth across diverse industries. About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Executive Assistant to support the North America Marketing Leader, with the potential to support an additional marketing leader. In this critical role, you will be a trusted partner, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while providing strategic support in managing priorities, optimizing schedules, and driving cross-team coordination. You will play a key role in facilitating executive travel, event planning, project management, and enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing team.

You’ll need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable, and have the ability to handle ambiguity and competing priorities. If you love working with people across multiple teams and cultures, this role is highly collaborative and involves interaction with department heads across regional and global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Support: Run, prioritize, and anticipate your VP's day-to-day schedule, confirm meetings, enter expenses, and attend to other matters as needed.
  • Travel Arrangements: Book domestic and international travel arrangements (air, hotel, ground transportation), assist with meeting coordination, and create detailed itineraries for executive travel.
  • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate department events, including managing all meeting details (agendas, presentations, meals, securing space, and managing attendee invitations).
  • Industry Events Support: Manage logistics and coordination for leadership’s participation in industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements, including preparing materials, assisting with speaking proposals, coordinating attendance, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Cross-Functional Interaction: Interact and communicate with employees at all levels and across the organization, including other Workday executives, cross-functional teams, and external vendors.
  • Cross-Team Communication: Facilitate clear and timely communication between the marketing team and other departments (sales, product, etc.), schedule interdepartmental meetings, and ensure team members are kept informed.
  • Process Improvement: Establish and implement processes to improve team interactions, efficiency, and effectiveness. Identify business process improvements and make recommendations where appropriate.
  • Project Coordination for Campaigns: Provide light project management support for marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring timelines are met
