About the role

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for maintaining warehouse inventory accuracy and completing shipments and deliveries.

Responsibilities

Receives and ships parts.
Participates in parts inventory.
Delivers parts to both internal and external customers.
Accounts for all parts.
Maintains inventory and deliveries into BaaN.
Completes Purchase Orders.
Maintains cleanliness of warehouse areas.
Completes daily and weekly stock replenishment orders.
Maintains good relations with customers and vendors.
Works with Service groups to develop forecast for all parts needed to maintain truck fleets.
Manages mine site warehouse stock.
Develops and participates in an on-call schedule.
Insures cycle counts are performed as required by company policy.
Insures warehouses are in compliance with all state and federal regulations (OHSA and MSHA).
Completes equipment inspection reports on daily basis.

Competencies

Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with one to three years related experience or knowledge in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to read and understand parts manuals.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers.

On call for weekend and after hours parts call outs.
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
Ability to maintain Mine Safety & Health Administration certification.
Ability to work overtime as required.
