The Warehouse Technician is responsible for maintaining warehouse inventory accuracy and completing shipments and deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Receives and ships parts.
- Participates in parts inventory.
- Delivers parts to both internal and external customers.
- Accounts for all parts.
- Maintains inventory and deliveries into BaaN.
- Completes Purchase Orders.
- Maintains cleanliness of warehouse areas.
- Completes daily and weekly stock replenishment orders.
- Maintains good relations with customers and vendors.
- Works with Service groups to develop forecast for all parts needed to maintain truck fleets.
- Manages mine site warehouse stock.
- Develops and participates in an on-call schedule.
- Insures cycle counts are performed as required by company policy.
- Insures warehouses are in compliance with all state and federal regulations (OHSA and MSHA).
- Completes equipment inspection reports on daily basis.
Competencies
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with one to three years related experience or knowledge in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to read and understand parts manuals.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers.

- On call for weekend and after hours parts call outs.
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to maintain Mine Safety & Health Administration certification.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
