Assistant Operations Manager (Swim School)

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support daily operations, assist with deck supervision, and help keep our team and schedule on track.

This is a support role — you’ll work directly with the Operations Manager to handle the day-to-day responsibilities that keep the business running efficiently.

What You’ll Do

This role is focused on execution and support:

•  Assist the Operations Manager with daily tasks and follow-through 
•  Help manage staff schedules, call-outs, and shift coverage 
•  Be present on deck: support instructors, help manage classes, and step in when needed 
•  Take ownership of administrative and time-consuming tasks 
•  Help maintain a high standard of customer service 
•  Assist with onboarding and training new staff 
•  Support basic inventory and operational organization 

What We’re Looking For

•  1–2+ years of experience in a leadership, assistant, or operations support role 
•  Highly organized and dependable — you don’t let things fall through the cracks 
•  Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment 
•  Strong communication and team support mindset 
•  Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed 

Bonus Points If You Have

•  Swim lesson or coaching experience 
•  Knowledge of swim strokes and class structure 
•  Experience with scheduling software (Mindbody a plus) 

Certifications (Preferred)

•  CPR/AED & First Aid 
•  Lifeguard certification 
•  WSI certification (a plus)

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
