Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager with excellent communication and strong analytical skills to work closely with the Director and act as a strategic partner. In this role you will actively participate in diverse projects, particularly concentrating on operating expenses. Your responsibilities include close collaboration with the accounting team for historical financial analysis, insights generation for future forecasting, involvement in company-wide budget creation, and management of budgets for various departments. 

In this role you will: 

• Own our consolidated monthly financials, preparing accurate reporting, variance analyses, and presentations for executives and leadership
• Partner with the team and business leaders to create our financial review to present to executives on a monthly basis
• Partner closely with Accounting on month end close and group level reporting
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets for key functional teams by partnering with business leaders and ensuring sound financial decisions are made
• Support special projects that will help automate internal processes and improve efficiencies
• Opportunity to manage and develop junior member(s) on the team
• Other ad-hoc strategic analyses and work across the business, as necessary

We are looking for: 

• 7+ years experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance at a high growth startup or well established company
• Familiarity in Technology, Ecommerce, and/or Marketplace business models, including omnichannel sales models (web, mobile, and retail)
• Resilience and flexibility to the demands of working in a fast-growing start up, including the need to adapt, build, and learn new aspects of the business as necessary
• Familiarity with manipulating large datasets to help the company make strategic recommendations
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills with a formidable attention to detail
• Healthy curiosity to understand all aspects of the business
• Ability to work collaboratively to drive cross-functional execution on business goals
• Elevated pride of ownership in work product
• Exposure to NetSuite and/or other accounting systems a plus
• SQL proficiency (or a willingness to learn) a plus
• Advanced Excel modeling skills

The hiring range for this position is below, plus benefits (401K, paid time off, dental, medical, vision, disability, life insurance options). To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role/level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
