This is a temporary&nbsp;assignment and will report in to the Director, Breaking News Video. This position&nbsp;will require night and weekend work as part of their schedule.</p> <p><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Produces full hearings and clips for Forbes Breaking News Channel and Forbes Main presence on YouTube, Daily Motion, and other platforms</li> <li>Help with day to day workload for Forbes Breaking News FAST Channel</li> <li>Offer ideas and editorial suggestions for original content</li> <li>Produce Wochit videos</li> </ul> <p><strong>The ideal candidate:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree</li> <li>1+ years of experience in a similar position</li> <li>Outstanding news judgement</li> <li>Be at team player, creatively-minded, willing to share ideas</li> <li>Have strong editorial judgement with a keen understanding of news,<br>politics, business and pop culture</li> <li>Be a strategic thinker who can balance multiple news events at once and<br>understand what to prioritize and how to disseminate a story</li> </ul> <p><strong data-stringify-type="bold">The hourly rate for this role is $22.00 - $25.00</strong></p> <p><em>Forbes has estimated the compensation range set forth above in good faith.&nbsp; The compensation range is what we believe we will offer, and ultimately pay, a successful candidate.&nbsp; In determining this range, we consider the experience, level of education (if applicable to the role), knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be had by a successful candidate as well as the budget and the company’s pay rates, generally.
