Tines is a rapidly growing leader in enterprise workflow automation, enabling businesses to streamline and secure their operations. As we continue to expand globally, we are seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Communications to lead our external communications efforts and amplify the Tines brand. This role requires a player coach who will lead a growing team responsible for building awareness, managing PR, creating compelling content, and driving brand campaigns that solidify Tines as a leader in the cybersecurity, AI, and B2B SaaS spaces.
We have a strong preference for our employee to be based near our US HQ in Boston, or our global HQ in Dublin, Ireland. Alternative locations considered are EST states only.
Responsibilities
Public Relations (PR) & Media Relations:
- Lead PR strategy to drive high-impact media coverage in target regions, focusing on Tines’ innovation in B2B SaaS, AI, and cybersecurity.
- Manage our PR agency to ensure alignment with brand messaging and goals.
- Build and manage relationships with journalists, analysts, and industry influencers.
Content Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Tines’ business goals.
- Oversee content creation (blog posts, research reports, white papers, case studies, etc.) that speaks to our audience of security professionals and decision-makers in the enterprise SaaS market.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication and content channels, with a focus on thought leadership, customer success stories, and technical innovation.
Brand Marketing & Campaigns:
- Collaborate with the Brand Design team to shape and evolve the Tines brand identity.
- Create and manage brand campaigns that drive awareness and reinforce Tines’ position as a leader in enterprise automation.
- Measure and report on campaign performance, optimizing for engagement and brand growth.
Executive Thought Leadership:
- Develop and manage the executive thought leadership strategy, ensuring our leaders have a strong and consistent presence in the cybersecurity and B2B SaaS space through blog content, prominent bylines, sponsored content, third-party podcasts, pitch decks, social media channels, etc.
- Partner with the leadership team to identify and write thought leadership content (articles, op-eds, keynote speeches).
- Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, panel discussions, and media interviews that leverage Tines’ executives as industry leaders.

- Exceptional Storyteller: Expertise in crafting compelling story arcs and narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Media Savvy: Strong relationships with industry media and the ability to secure high-impact placements.
- Data-Driven: Ability to track and report on key marketing and PR metrics to demonstrate ROI.
- Collaborative: Works well cross-functionally, partnering with leadership, product marketing, design, and sales teams to achieve shared goals.
Experience Required
- 10+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or content strategy. Majority of experience should be in B2B SaaS, with a preference for high-growth AI or cybersecurity companies.
- Proven track record in media relations, securing top-tier press coverage, and managing successful PR campaigns.
- Proven experience leading and growing a team, with the ability to inspire and motivate through a solutions-driven mindset.
