Technologies You Need to Know (3 = Strong requirement, 2 = Good skills, 1 = Familiar with)

• (3) Strong experience with AWS services (EKS, Kubernetes, S3, Lambda), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), JavaScript (frontend and backend, React.js or similar), Node.js with ORM tools (Sequelize), and RBAC & Permission Systems (SpiceDB).

• (2) Proficiency with Redis, Elastic Cache, relational and document-based databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), message brokers (RabbitMQ, NATS), and identity providers (Okta).

• (1) Familiarity with Snowflake & Looker.

You’d Be a Great Fit If You:

• Have 10+ years of experience, with at least 2 years as a Director, managing 4+ teams (5-10 engineers each).

• Have experience interacting with C-Suite Executives and driving transformation in large organizations.

• Are skilled in designing, writing, running, maintaining, and debugging full-stack applications.

• Have experience breaking down monoliths to microservices and working with data analytics & modeling.

• Have strong experience working with customers, solving problems quickly while ensuring a great customer experience.

• Thrive in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment and can work independently when needed.

• Have excellent verbal communication skills and can collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Approach software development with a business-driven, outcome-focused mindset.

• Have strong attention to detail and a security-first approach to building and maintaining distributed systems.

Bonus Points If You:

• Have experience with a 24/7 SaaS product on a major cloud provider and Kubernetes architecture on AWS.

• Have worked in distributed teams and are knowledgeable in the Platform domain (e.g., login providers).

• Have Business Administration experience and familiarity with SOX compliance, including implementing controls, monitoring audits, and maintaining secure, compliant infrastructure.
