THE RUNDOWN

Playfly Sports is looking for a Design Intern to join our Playfly Creates team in New York, NY. Within our 10-week paid Playfly Summer Internship Program, you’ll be immersed into the business side of sports and join our team of talented professionals. Through hands-on experience, projects, and mentoring, you’ll learn the fundamental skills and knowledge it takes to have a career in sports while developing yourself professionally and personally.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

•  Assist with general office duties and design production (brainstorming, sourcing imagery, clipping backgrounds, writing, storyboarding, etc.)
•  Participate in brainstorming sessions and other creative meetings
•  Create original campaign concepts and designs for marketing pitches
•  Design B2B projects in print and digital media
•  Attend all internship events and participate in projects and assignments
•  All other duties as assigned

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

•  A commitment to contributing to a respectful, diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment where everyone feels like they belong
•  Passion for Sports, pop culture, and all things entertainment
•  Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint experience required
•  InDesign preferred, AfterEffects experience a plus but not required
•  Highly organized with a focus on details and producing quality work
•  Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter and team player with excellent interpersonal skills 

 

INTERNSHIP DETAILS & APPLICATION GUIDELINES

•  Entering final year of school in Graphic Design or a related field
•  Availability to work June 9th, 2025- August 15th, 2025, 32 hours/wk, Monday- Thursday

• Interns will be paid at an hour rate of $16.50  

•  **Design candidates must include a design portfolio that demonstrates your conceptual skills, design style, and a firm understanding of type and design principles.**
•  Applications without a portfolio will not be considered
